Reflections on Community and Entrepreneurship
I’ve just written a post on my recommended student blogs and included yours. I’d love to know what you thought about it and if you had any recommendations.
Hopefully we can stay in touch.
The Cramster folks and I thank you for the great kudos in your Mashable article. It’s really terrific to be recognized.
How did you discover the site?
If you’re ever interested in chatting with the co-founders for your own blog, please let me know.
Hey Dave! I was really excited when I stumbled into your Mashable article today via Delicious! Great work – and extremely useful! Love your blog also. Hope you’re doing well — looks like it – and that all’s well in Geneseo.
Hey Dave, We over at Filmstars08 support you and hope all is well. Keep up the great work bro. Your well on your way to being the next big celebrity blogger. Stay focused and keep doing a great job sir.
I saw your pictures on Israel. Are you Jewish? If not then maybe we both share a great love for this nation and its people. I spent the last ten years of confronting my country’s (Germ.) past and seeing it for what it really was. It brought me to an appreciation of the Jewish nation and the contributions it does for humanity, something that is hardly ever mentioned in the mass media.
I liked what you had to say about transperency and honesty.
My daughter uses MySpace but invites only friends that she actually knows. I do the same and I am also on Facebook and now Twitter as well. But I hardly use it as a communication device, only to find like minded people. I’m also not searching for ‘friends’ but rather let people come to me and I decide. If I cannot confirm the origin of how a person found out about me (online group, etc.) I don’t even respond to it. And when someone shows up claiming a mutual friend of mine which wasn’t too long ago, I ask that mutual friend about authenticity of same person. But it is just that – finding people of like minds. And in your case it is your pictures of Israel, not just that but even rabbis in some cases that like the one who still can kick arse with you I believe on the picture.
So let me know what goes on, especially about Israel and how your trips were. Maybe some day I will be able to do it as well.
Heh not sure where you saw pictures of me in Israel? I haven’t been there since I was 5. I am on the waiting list for Birthright and will be going as soon as I have to time though. You might be thinking the tweet I posted was me but it was actually Jacob Morgan’s pictures in Israel…I was just sharing them with my followers on Twitter.
Glad you found me either way. Don’t be afraid to come out of your shell and use these social tools to the fullest. You can be safe but still utilize these tools to communicate with new, interesting people. Just be smart about it (=
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you’ll return.
I won’t be censored!
haha yes you will.
Just wanted to say cool name!
I recently started a blog about trends in social media at my school, Rowan University. I found your blog via Mashable, and immediately became interested in what you had to say.
